Clear, straightforward terms covering warranty, returns, payment and delivery.
Warranty Policy
All new, rebuilt, reconditioned and exchange turbochargers are supplied with a twelve (12) month manufacturer’s warranty from the date of purchase. Precision Turbochargers excludes all implied warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability or suitability for a specific purpose.
During the applicable warranty period, Precision Turbochargers may, at its sole discretion, repair or replace any product found to have defects in materials or workmanship when installed and used under normal operating conditions.
In the event of a warranty claim, the turbocharger unit is to be returned to Precision Turbochargers, in a complete and untampered or undamaged condition. If the unit has been altered, dismantled or has had any attempted repairs carried out on it without the approval of a Precision Turbochargers technician, all warranty will be voided.
If there is an issue or defect detected at the time of turbocharger purchase, installation or after installation, Precision Turbochargers must be notified immediately and within the warranty period. DO NOT operate or continue to operate the vehicle/machinery and contact Precision Turbochargers immediately, as failure to do so will result in loss of warranty.
Warranty eligibility is determined solely by Precision Turbochargers following inspection and assessment, including consideration of installation quality, operating conditions, and any vehicle modifications.
This warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear, racing or competition use, unauthorised modifications, incorrect installation, or inadequate maintenance.
This warranty replaces all other express or implied warranties.
Failure to meet the terms and conditions listed below will result in loss of warranty:
- Failure to provide evidence, receipt or invoices for the new, reconditioned, exchanged or work carried out by Precision Turbochargers.
- Turbocharger must be fitted by a licensed professional vehicle repairer.
- Documentation and receipts of turbo installation by a licensed vehicle repairer are to be provided, including contact details; licence number or ABN is also required.
- Damage from oil starvation, oil contamination, exceeded temperatures and foreign objects will result in loss of warranty.
- Must provide evidence of correct oil feed pressure reading at engine operating temperature at idle and above 2000rpm.
- Must provide evidence of new or correctly cleaned oil feed line.
- Must provide evidence of clean and correctly fitted and sized oil drain line.
- Must provide evidence of correct exhaust gas temperature readings at operating temperature and under full load conditions.
- Must provide evidence of all serviceable items related to the turbocharged unit to be replaced with manufacturer approved parts e.g. engine oil, oil filters, air filter, diesel fuel filters, diesel fuel injectors and injector testing.
- Must provide evidence of full vehicle service history including fluids, parts and components.
- Must provide evidence if vehicle has been correctly tuned.
- Any modifications or accessories fitted after purchase that directly impact the performance of the turbocharger will void any warranty.
Other Warranty Information
- Custom turbochargers and high-performance upgrade components are supplied without warranty coverage.
- Turbocharger parts are supplied with a twelve (12) month manufacturer’s warranty from the date of purchase.
- Powder Coating services are supplied with a twelve (12) month warranty from the date of purchase.
During the applicable warranty period, Precision Turbochargers may, at its sole discretion, repair or replace any product found to have defects in materials or workmanship when installed and used under normal operating conditions.
Return Policy
Returns for refund or exchange may be requested within fourteen (14) days from the shipment date and are subject to prior approval and authorisation from Precision Turbochargers. Approved returns will incur a restocking charge of 25%.
All returned items must be unused, in resalable condition, and packaged in their original packaging. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and must be prepaid. Any damage incurred during transit must be claimed directly with the freight carrier.
Before returning any product for refund, exchange, warranty assessment, or service, customers must contact Precision Turbochargers on 02 9756 5757 to obtain authorisation. Returns received without prior approval will not be accepted.
For turbochargers submitted for servicing, an estimate will be provided prior to repair. Customers must arrange payment, return shipping, or collection within thirty (30) days of receiving the estimate. If payment for repairs or return freight is not finalised within this period, ownership of the product will transfer to Precision Turbochargers. Once repairs are completed, items not collected or shipped within fourteen (14) days will incur a weekly storage fee equal to 15% of the repair or turbocharger value. After thirty (30) days, unclaimed products will become the property of Precision Turbochargers.
Payment Terms
Full payment is required before any new turbocharger orders are placed or products are released.
Accepted payment methods include cash, direct deposit, EFTPOS, and credit cards. Credit card payments incur a 2% processing fee.
Delivery & Turnaround
Where genuine products are not held in stock and must be sourced, delivery timeframes are typically up to one (1) week within NSW and may be longer for orders being received from interstate or internationally.
Precision Turbochargers can arrange shipping via various courier services; however, delivery timeframes are dependent on the carrier, and Precision Turbochargers is not responsible for courier-related delays.
Most repairs or upgrade services are completed within approximately one (1) week, subject to parts availability. If additional components are required, turnaround times may increase. While all reasonable efforts are made to complete services promptly, Precision Turbochargers cannot be held responsible for delays beyond its control.
